Job summary
Cardinal Health is seeking a Workday AI Solutions Engineer to translate complex HCM needs into AI-enabled HR applications and automated workflows. You will collaborate with HR and IT to design, build, and scale Extend and AI solutions, ensuring secure integrations and adoption readiness across the Workday ecosystem.
The role requires strong Workday technical expertise, practical HCM knowledge, and the ability to evaluate business value, feasibility, and security for scalable production
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Workday Extend applications in production.
- Strong understanding of Workday platform configuration, security, reporting, data sources, and integration architecture.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, Workday Studio, EIBs, and Workday Orchestrate.
- Ability to translate HR challenges into technical solutions across Recruiting, Compensation, Benefit, Time, and Core HCM.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize Workday Extend opportunities with HR and IT stakeholders.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support Extend apps that simplify HR processes and improve user experiences.
- Evaluate and implement Workday AI capabilities and custom agents based on value, feasibility, and security.
- Develop proofs of concept and iterate with business stakeholders toward production readiness.
- Design integrations using REST/SOAP, Orchestrate, Studio, and EIBs across Workday and third-party platforms.
