Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join its Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will implement, support, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning for clients, improving financial reporting, planning, and forecasting processes.

As part of a team, you will deliver multiple workstreams, mentor associates, and help clients translate business needs into effective financial solutions across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, business analytics, MIS or fin-tech preferred
• Experience in EPM, FP&A, financial systems, or consulting preferred
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred
• Strong background in financial reporting and data flows preferred

Responsibilities

• Support Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment by delivering assigned workstreams, maintaining high-quality deliverables, and meeting project timelines and client expectations
• Facilitate working sessions with client teams to map out their business operations, define goals for their planning cycles, and identify key metrics that drive decision-making
• Build, configure, and maintain financial forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring they meet client requirements and align with best practices
• Support the implementation process from start to finish, including configuration, testing, and optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning
• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and other integration platforms to incorporate data from a variety of ERP and source systems into Workday Adaptive Planning
• Help clients streamline their financial processes by automating workflows and reports using system capabilities
• Identify opportunities to reduce the time clients spend compiling data, allowing them to focus more on analysis and strategy
• Provide training to client teams to ensure they can effectively use the tools and systems implemented
