Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will implement, support, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning to enhance clients' financial planning and forecasting processes.

You will work on diverse projects, mentor junior staff, and help drive client value. The role requires strong JavaScript/SQL skills, experience with EPM/FP&A, and the ability to travel ~20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, business analytics, MIS, fin-tech or information systems preferred.
• Experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP&A, financial systems, or consulting preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred.
• Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL, and other integration platforms to incorporate data from ERP systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of corporate financial accounting experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of corporate financial planning experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain tech to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Workday Adaptive Planning implementation workstreams from discovery through deployment.
• Facilitate client sessions to map business operations and define planning goals.
• Build and maintain financial forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Support configuration, testing, and optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC and other platforms.
• Automate workflows and reports to streamline financial processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce data compilation time and improve decision-making.
• Provide training to client teams to ensure effective tool use.
