Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join the Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services practice. You will guide implementations, optimize planning processes, and advise clients on financial systems and reporting.

You will work with a team supporting diverse projects, mentoring associates, and delivering high-quality outcomes while traveling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, business analytics, MIS, fin-tech or information systems preferred.
• Minimum 3 years corporate financial accounting experience.
• Minimum 1 year corporate financial planning experience.
• Experience with FP&A teams preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with data and systems to create efficiencies and improve decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment by delivering assigned workstreams, maintaining high-quality deliverables, and meeting project timelines and client expectations.
• Facilitate working sessions with client teams to map out their business operations, define goals for their planning cycles, and identify key metrics that drive decision-making.
• Build, configure, and maintain financial forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring they meet client requirements and align with best practices.
• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and other integration platforms to incorporate data from a variety of ERP and source systems into Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Help clients streamline their financial processes by automating workflows and reports using system capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to reduce the time clients spend compiling data, allowing them to focus more on analysis and strategy.
• Provide training to client teams to ensure they can effectively use the tools and systems implemented.
