You will set back-end technical vision for major projects, lead architecture decisions, and mentor engineers, delivering shipped systems and reusable patterns for the team.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to debug and optimize complex WordPress systems.
• Experience leading technical discussions with clients and translating needs into a vision.
• Experience building scalable, secure backend architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise WordPress solutions including high-performance plugins, themes, and Gutenberg blocks built in React.js.
• Define the backend technical strategy for large-scale projects, focusing on architecture, performance, and scalability.
• Lead expert code reviews to ensure code quality, security and maintainability across the team.
• Diagnose and resolve complex performance and caching challenges for resilient platforms.
• Mentor engineers by sharing WordPress patterns and best practices across engagements.
