Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking an Advisor, Implementation Technology to drive end-to-end Warehouse Management System implementations across multiple distribution facilities. The role coordinates OEM engineers, production control, test engineering, software engineering, quality, and operations to deliver complete solutions.

You will lead validation efforts, manage resources, and ensure documentation aligns with SDLC standards while performing financial analyses for customer implementations.

Qualifications

• Strong operational knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux servers and Oracle relational databases preferred.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL for application development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects follow established processes and standards.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) within distribution facilities.
• Evaluate and assign appropriate resources to the implementation team.
• Provide leadership for validation and completion of implementation processes.
• Collaborate with design teams to maintain high-quality documentation aligned with SDLC standards.
• Conduct financial analysis for customer implementations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to meet business requirements and user needs.
• Ensure solution design is sound and support resources are trained and equipped to resolve issues.
• Establish and update strategies for implementing supply chain systems, including methodology and tools.
• Facilitate communication between systems and operations teams throughout project lifecycle.
