Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Warrendale, PA, is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to define, govern, and evolve end-to-end technology solutions for warehousing and logistics, with ownership of the WMS technology roadmap.

You will lead architecture vision across WMS/TMS/OMS, drive cloud-native and microservices, collaborate with operations, sales, and IT, and guide vendor evaluations and large-scale integrations. Ten-plus years in solution architecture with global supply chain experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
10+ years in solution architecture with strong WMS and global supply chain focus.
Experience with SOA, microservices, messaging, databases, large-scale system integration, and agile environments.
Proven ability to drive change and enterprise adoption of architecture standards.

Responsibilities

Define, govern, and lead the architecture vision, principles, and technology roadmap aligned with enterprise strategy.
Design scalable architecture across WMS, TMS, OMS, YMS, LMS.
Document system architectures, interfaces, feature capabilities, and functional gaps.
Ensure solutions support multi-client, multi-warehouse, and omni-channel 3PL environments.
Own and define the WMS technology roadmap, aligned with business strategy and client needs.
Lead vendor evaluations, RFPs, and PoCs for WMS and adjacent technologies.
Actively participate in customer demos with Sales and Solution teams.
