FedEx Supply Chain is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to define and govern end-to-end technology solutions for warehousing and logistics, owning the WMS technology roadmap. You will drive architecture standards, lead cross-functional teams, and guide modernization through cloud-native, microservices, and AI use cases.

Responsibilities include designing scalable architectures for WMS/TMS/OMS, integrating with API-based, EDI, and event-driven systems, and leading vendor evaluations and PoCs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, supply chain technology, or related field.
• 10+ years in solution architect with strong WMS and global supply chain focus.
• Experience with SOA, microservices, messaging, databases, large-scale system integration, and agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Define, govern, and lead the architecture vision, principles, and technology roadmap aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Design scalable architecture across WMS, TMS, OMS, YMS, LMS and integrations (EDI, API, event-driven).
• Document architectures, interfaces, and feature capabilities; identify gaps.
• Ensure solutions support multi-client, multi-warehouse, omni-channel 3PL; align with business needs.
• Own and define the WMS technology roadmap; translate market insights into recommendations.
• Lead vendor evaluations, RFPs, and PoCs for WMS and related tech.
• Lead/participate in critical customer demos with Sales and Solution teams.
