Job summary

Amazon Leo is developing a broadband wireless system for the LEO constellation. The Sr. Comm Systems Engineer will lead the design, development, and integration of communication payload and customer terminal systems.

The role focuses on defining the system architecture, advanced PHY/protocol stacks, and simulation tools, with HW/SW integration and verification as key deliverables. PhD or Master’s with 5+ years in wireless research is preferred.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s with 5+ years of quantitative field research experience.
• 5+ years of wireless communications experience at system or implementation level.

Responsibilities

• Define and design the overall communication system and architecture for the Leo broadband network.
• Develop advanced PHY and protocol stacks with proof-of-concept implementations.
