Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr Ground Systems Engineer to contribute to the definition, development, integration, test, production, and deployment of Leo ground systems for high-throughput satellite connectivity.

The role requires extensive RF expertise, experience with ground tracking antennas, and a track record in systems engineering for satellite ground systems. A Master's or Bachelor's in EE or related field is preferred, with a strong focus on RF hardware and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience with RF systems, ground tracking antennas, and satellite links.
• Strong background in RF hardware, design, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Define RF oversight for integrated terminal products and gateway/TT&C systems.
• Develop RF architecture, specifications, and designs; conduct analyses and reviews.
• Prepare design documentation and present findings to teams and vendors.
• Support verification plans and on-site commissioning for ground gateways.
