Job summary

Amazon is seeking an RF Comms Systems Integration and Test Engineer to drive bring-up, integration, and debugging of high-throughput wireless systems for the Amazon Leo satellite program. You will work cross-functionally with PHY, RF, MAC, and firmware teams to achieve conformance testing and robust performance.

The role emphasizes 3GPP-based testing, channel characterization, and scripting for test automation in a lab environment, with a focus on satellite-to-ground links and DT/IF

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years in L1/L2 or beamforming.
• Experience with RF lab equipment, bring-up, test and integration activities.
• Knowledge of 3GPP NTN and ORAN for conformance testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead bring-up, integration, and debugging of advanced PHY/MAC and beamforming RF systems for satellite comms.
• Architect and execute 3GPP-based testing for satellite-ground networks; define equipment requirements for conformance tests.
• Collaborate across PHY, RF, MAC, firmware teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Characterize performance, analyze data, and troubleshoot system-level issues in lab environments.
• Develop test procedures with Linux, Python, and scripting to support payload verification.
