Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for wire bonding to own and optimize the wire bonding processes and equipment used in power electronics manufacturing. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, partner with operations, quality, and product engineering, and drive yield enhancements across global BUs.

The role requires hands-on experience with wire bonding, process development, and training of operators in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in electronics/semiconductor environments.
• Experience owning or supporting wire bonding processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist line capacity planning and drive yield improvements.
• Investigate daily production issues to improve yield and reduce costs.
• Develop corrective actions and monitor effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to elevate product performance.
