Job summary

Advanced Energy seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for wire bonding process ownership and continuous improvement across multiple systems. You will drive yield, costs, and capability while partnering with operations, quality, and product engineering teams worldwide.

The role requires hands-on ownership of the wire bonding process, fixture design, and DOE execution, with a focus on manufacturability, process controls, and training of technicians.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience owning or supporting wire bonding processes in electronics manufacturing.
• Ability to design fixtures for soldering and wire bonding.
• Ability to design, execute, and manage multiple small-scale DOEs.
• Robust knowledge of IPC-610 standards and ESD protocols.

Responsibilities

• Owns all aspects of the wire bonding process across multiple systems.
• Drives yield improvements and process capability in collaboration with global BUs.
• Develops corrective actions and provides training to operators.
• Implements best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Reviews product requirements for manufacturability and design for manufacturability.
• Keeps documentation and ECOs up to date within the QMS.
