Job summary

Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, IL, seeks a Senior Program Manager for Career Connections (grant-funded, full-time) within Workforce & Community Partnerships. You will lead WIOA youth, adult, and dislocated worker programs, supervise staff, and coordinate services to promote student success and workforce readiness.

Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, data reporting, and budget管理—ensuring grant compliance and effective program outcomes for participants across MVCC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, psychology, communications, or related area.
• Minimum five years in workforce development programs or counseling-related work.
• Minimum 3–5 years managing WIOA grants (Youth, Adult, Dislocated Worker).

Responsibilities

• Oversee grant-funded WIOA programs (Youth, Adult, Dislocated Worker) and supervise staff.
• Build relationships with CCWP, DCEO, and community partners to meet program goals.
• Plan and implement workshops, coordinate services, and develop employment plans.
• Track data and report program performance using the specified systems.
• Maintain client files, exits, and follow-up services in compliance with grant rules.
• Prepare and manage grant budgets and expenditures with MVCC staff.
• Represent WIOA programs at college events and advisory meetings.
