Job summary

Foley Family Wines & Spirits is seeking a Hospitality Center Lead Wine Educator to maintain high service and sales standards in a tasting room environment. You will lead by example, train staff, and participate in phone sales campaigns to drive revenue while ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

The role focuses on mentoring staff, managing daily operations, and engaging visitors with wine knowledge and tastings to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

Two years or more retail, restaurant and/or tasting room sales experience including cash handling.
Knowledge of wine industry (wine club/customer loyalty programs, three-tier distribution).
Passion for talking about wine, educating people about wine, wine and food pairing, selling wine and promoting wine club events.
Food handling certification and compliance is required.

Responsibilities

Establish an atmosphere of teamwork and positive employee relations through communication of goals and business objectives.
Develop new business referrals through outreach to local hotels, restaurants, etc.
Manage concierge inbox by promptly responding to emails and voicemails.
Contribute to training and development of staff by providing feedback to Senior Management.
Open/close duties, daily banking, cash balancing, and sales reporting.
