Job summary

MAXX Potential LLC is seeking a Senior Windows Systems Administrator to support and enhance enterprise IT infrastructure. You will maintain Windows-based physical and virtual servers, optimize performance, and ensure security and high availability across multi-user environments.

The role includes mentoring MAXX Apprentices and shaping the next generation of technologists. The position offers hybrid work with travel to client facilities as needed, providing opportunities to engage across diverse

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Windows Server administration experience.
• Reliably support an on-call rotation and work after hours/weekends as needed.
• Capable of travel to Client facilities as needed. Locations may include Charlotte and Raleigh, NC - Richmond, VA - Washington D.C. - Denver, CO - Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows-based physical and virtual servers to ensure high availability and security.
• Perform physical server builds, DAS/SAN storage connectivity, RAID configurations, and storage provisioning.
• Deploy and manage virtual servers (TSM, Avamar, Nutanix); troubleshoot hypervisor issues and perform capacity planning.
• Mentor and coach MAXX Apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices in enterprise Windows administration and infrastructure.
