Job summary

MAXX Potential LLC seeks a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to oversee enterprise-level Linux infrastructure, both physical and virtual, ensuring high availability. This remote role involves troubleshooting complex system issues and maintaining scalable computing resources.

You will manage deployments, backups, security policy enforcement, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve IT infrastructure challenges, with opportunities to work with mentors in a growth-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux server administration experience (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work after hours/weekends as needed.
• Capable of travel to NGC facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth operation of multi-user Linux systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Interact with users and evaluate vendor products, recommending hardware/software purchases.
• Oversee system installation, backup recovery, policy enforcement, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot RHEL operating system issues and provide immediate solutions to restore service.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve IT infrastructure challenges.
