Job summary

MAXX Potential is seeking a Senior Windows Administrator to support and enhance an enterprise IT infrastructure. You will maintain Windows-based physical and virtual servers, optimize performance, and ensure high availability and security across multi-user computing environments.

The role emphasizes remote work with the ability to travel to NGC facilities as needed, offering opportunities to influence IT operations and collaborate with seasoned technologists.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Windows Server administration experience.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work after hours/weekends as needed.
• Capable of travel to NGC facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Windows Server Administration: Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, coordinating with network admins.
• Physical Server Support: Build and troubleshoot physical servers, including DAS/SAN storage, RAM, power, and components.
• Virtual Server Administration: Deploy and manage virtual servers (TSM, Avamar, Nutanix); troubleshoot VM issues and hypervisor alerts.
• Connect servers to network/SAN and ensure proper configuration and integration; troubleshoot CIFS/NFS permissions and folder/share requests.
