Lenmar Consulting Inc. is seeking a Windows Server Engineer to design and support a high-availability Windows server environment in a trading-related setting.

The role requires strong expertise across Windows Server OS, AD, clustering, and SAN storage, with experience in VM technologies and on-call rotations. The position involves architecting, monitoring, and implementing Windows infrastructure projects, and working weekends as part of an on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge of Windows OS (2012-2022) and Enterprise components: Domains, DNS, Registries, DHCP/WINS.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft cluster technologies and strategies: server cluster, network and component load balancing.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory.
• Good knowledge of VMware vSphere and associated products (e.g., vCenter, SRM).
• Hyper-V knowledge is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of performance management and capacity planning.
• Strong knowledge of SAN/EMC storage including SRDF types.
• Knowledge of installing Windows W2K22+ on industry standard hardware.
• Knowledge of IIS, .NET, F5 is a big plus.
• Dynatrace monitoring knowledge is a plus.
• Networking basics (TCP/IP, SNMP), subnetting and routing.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Sybase, Oracle, and SQL along with MQ Series.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project Management and Documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and provide expert-level support and strategy for production Windows server environments.
• Maintain proactive performance monitoring of the environment.
• Participate in day-to-day support activities, administration and projects related to Windows infrastructure and applications.
• Maintain all Windows servers.
• Provide weekend and on-call support 24/7.
