Job summary

Lenmar Consulting Inc. seeks a senior Windows Server Architect to design and support a production Windows server environment. The role focuses on architecture, expert-level administration, and proactive performance monitoring, with involvement in day-to-day operations, projects, and on-call rotations. Strong experience with Windows Server, AD, VMware, and storage is essential, plus English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge of Windows OS (2012-2022) and Enterprise components.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and clustering technologies.
• Good knowledge of VMWare vSphere and associated products like vCenter/SRM.
• Hyper-V knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in performance management and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of SAN/EMC storage and SRDF types.
• Experience installing Windows on industry-standard hardware.
• Knowledge of IIS, .NET, and F5 is a plus.
• Dynatrace monitoring knowledge is a plus.
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and SNMP.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL and MQ Series.
• Strong communication, PM and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and on-call 24x7.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and provide expert level support and strategy for the Windows server environment.
• Maintain proactive performance monitoring and capacity planning.
• Lead day-to-day support, administration and projects for Windows infrastructure/apps.
• Collaborate on clustering, AD, and networking initiatives.
• Support on-call rotations and weekend work as required.
