Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks a seasoned security-focused IT professional to support and secure electronic security and IT systems for federal and commercial customers. You will manage Windows AD, patching, SIEM-like tasks, and secure deployments with STIGs across servers and endpoints.

Onsite in the Washington DC area with travel as needed, you will lead small teams, handle escalations, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining system reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years progressive experience or Associate's with 8+ years or HS diploma with 10+ years.
• System administrator experience triaging and resolving issues, deploying new workstations, and extending systems.
• 5+ years of experience programming/administrating Physical Access Control Systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and test Physical Access Control, CCTV, PSIM and related IT systems.
• Provide tier 2 escalation support and status updates to management and customers.
• Configure and manage Windows servers/desktops, AD, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Apply STIGs and maintain enterprise Windows AD architecture; support daily operations and backups.
• Travel/onsite support in the Washington, DC area with flexible shifts including nights/weekends.
