Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Windows Software Engineer to join the Zero Trust team. You will work on the Zero Trust desktop client, protecting corporate devices by securely sending traffic to Cloudflare’s global network and applying advanced web filtering and policies.

You will primarily use Rust and platform-native languages to implement high-performance networking code across desktop platforms, with a focus on Windows internals and multithreading.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Windows internals, kernel-mode programming, and network protocols.
• Experience in low-level Windows driver development, ideally network drivers.
• Excellent programming skills with high-quality, well-documented code.
• Strong experience writing easily-testable code using proper abstractions and DI.
• Proficiency with Rust, C, and C++ for performance-critical code.
• Experience with multithreaded, asynchronous programming.
• Understanding of VPN technologies, privacy, security trade-offs.
• Experience mentoring engineers and coordinating designs across teams.
