Job summary

Cydecor seeks a senior Network Engineer to own the operation, availability, and security of its network. You will work with a small engineering team to ensure resources stay accessible and outages are addressed quickly.

You will document architectures, evaluate new technologies, and support Azure networking, Zero Trust, and Cloudflare initiatives while coordinating with security and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related network engineering experience.
• Strong enterprise routing and switching experience.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco switches and Meraki gear.
• Experience configuring site-to-site and client-to-site VPNs.
• Hands-on with Zero Trust network environments.
• Experience with SASE and CASB concepts.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (LogicMonitor preferred).
• Strong DHCP, DNS, and certificate management knowledge.
• Azure networking knowledge including VNets, routing and VPNs.
• Experience with ITSM and writing technical documentation.
• CCNA certification is required; CCNP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own performance, availability, security, and reliability across the network.
• Configure, monitor, troubleshoot routing/switching, firewalls, VPNs, wireless infrastructure.
• Design and implement network changes and new sites/services.
• Evaluate and deploy new technologies.
• Support connectivity across Azure environments.
• Support Cloudflare Zero Trust transition.
• Collaborate with security/compliance on network security requirements.
• Maintain documentation of network architectures and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical issues outside business hours.
