Fortinet, Inc. is hiring a Senior Windows Software Developer to join the FortiClient Software team in Sunnyvale, CA. You will develop software in C/C++, work on network protocols, and contribute to Windows driver projects while collaborating with a fast-paced, global team.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of software development experience, strong C/C++, and knowledge of VPN technologies; Rust is a plus, with exposure to Python/Java and network security practices. Authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong familiarity with VPN technologies and protocols.
• Experience with Rust is a significant plus.
• Experience with Python and Java is beneficial.
• Knowledge of network security practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop software in C/C++ with object-oriented design.
