Job summary

Clutch Canada is seeking a Windows Desktop Application Developer to lead the design and development of applications using Windows App SDK and WinUI. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in Windows desktop application development and a strong focus on accessibility. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and opportunities for technical leadership in a collaborative environment. The U.S. salary range for this position is $140,000 - $200,000 annually plus bonus and stock.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Windows desktop application development using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, and XAML.
• Deep understanding of Windows application architecture.
• Proven track record of building production-quality desktop applications.
• Strong experience with accessibility APIs on Windows.
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience leading technical design and mentoring engineers.
• Strong communication skills and user-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of native Windows desktop applications.
• Define and enforce best practices for Windows desktop development.
• Drive accessibility efforts by integrating support for accessibility APIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for feature planning and UI/UX architecture.
• Take ownership of the full lifecycle of features.
• Identify and resolve complex bugs and performance issues.
