The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience with Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, and XAML, with a strong focus on ensuring accessibility and user-centered design. The estimated salary for this role ranges from $140,000 to $200,000 per year, plus a bonus and stock options based on experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Windows desktop application development using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and ideally C++.
• Deep understanding of Windows application architecture.
• Proven track record of designing and shipping desktop applications.
• Strong experience with accessibility APIs on Windows.
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of native Windows desktop applications.
• Define and enforce best practices for Windows desktop development.
• Drive accessibility efforts and validate support for accessibility APIs.
• Collaborate with product designers and UX researchers for feature planning.
• Take ownership of the full lifecycle of features.
