TEKsystems is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support ongoing workload and upcoming infrastructure initiatives in Anchorage, AK. The role requires hands-on expertise across systems, virtualization, security, and cloud technologies, with a contract-to-hire path.

Key duties include administering physical and virtual environments, monitoring performance and health, and supporting disaster recovery and security controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Expert-level infrastructure administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical and virtual infrastructure environments.
• Support servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, and health.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, system, and network issues.
• Participate in incident response and operational support activities.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls.
