Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC. is seeking a skilled Winder to join our team in a hands-on role rewinding various electromechanical equipment. You will remove windings, inspect for damage, wound new coils, and perform voltage testing to ensure reliability.

The position requires 5+ years of rewinding experience and the ability to read schematics, follow safety protocols, and operate hoists. IPS emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience rewinding AC and DC motors.
• Experience in winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles.
• Ability to perform basic math including fractions and operations.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to moderately complex instructions.
• Ability to understand and retain job-related training, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Ability to operate machinery and hoists.

Responsibilities

• Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment.
• Dismantle and strip damaged equipment, including media blasting.
• Inspect equipment for winding damage and electrical issues.
• Document data on winding characteristics, operating conditions, and damage.
• Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for issues.
• Strip stator or apparatus without damaging core or iron.
• Test rewound equipment per EASA standards and record results.
