Integrated Power Services in Pittsburgh is seeking a skilled Winder to rewind electromechanical equipment, inspect windings, and fabricate new coils. You’ll record data, perform voltage testing, and contribute to the reliability of critical equipment.

This role requires 5+ years of rewinding AC and DC motors, the ability to read instructions, operate hoists and machinery, and a safety-first mindset. IPS offers growth, competitive benefits, and a collaborative team.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors.
• Ability to perform basic math functions including fractions.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to moderately complex written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job-related training, operational, and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate machinery and hoists.

Responsabilidades

• Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment.
• Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable equipment, including media blasting.
• Inspect equipment for winding damage and electrical malfunctions.
• Document all relevant data on unit’s electromagnetic characteristics and operating conditions.
• Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for damage.
• Test rewound equipment according to standards and document results.
