Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Windchill Java Developer for a 100% remote role in the U.S. You will focus on deep Windchill customizations using Java, PTC APIs, and customization frameworks, building services, listeners, and processors while keeping a clean upgrade-ready layer.

Ideal candidates will have strong Java fundamentals, Windchill internals expertise, and a disciplined engineering approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of Java development experience, with strong focus on Windchill customization.
• Deep, hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API and customization frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals.
• Strong Java OO design and performance-engineering skills.
• Experience with JSP, HTML, and Windchill client-side customization.
• Hands-on experience with Type and Attribute Management (TAM).
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server.
• Experience supporting Windchill upgrades.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered Windchill solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver production-grade customizations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code/design reviews.
• Maintain an upgrade-friendly customization layer and perform performance-aware engineering.
