Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Windchill Backend Developer focused on deep Windchill customizations using Java, PTC APIs, and customization frameworks. You’ll extend Windchill services, listeners, and processors while keeping a clean, upgrade-friendly customization layer.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of Java development, strong Windchill internals knowledge, and a disciplined, performance-minded engineering approach. This role is remote in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Six or more years of Java development experience with Windchill customization.
• Deep, hands-on Windchill Java API and customization frameworks experience.
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals.
• Strong Java OO design and performance-engineering skills.
• Experience with JSP, HTML, and Windchill client-side customization.
• Hands-on experience with TAM (Type and Attribute Management).
• Strong SQL skills; familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server.
• Experience supporting Windchill upgrades; excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
