Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Java Developer focused on Windchill customization. You will work with Java, PTC APIs, and customization frameworks to extend Windchill capabilities while preserving upgrade-friendly layers.

The role requires deep Windchill internals knowledge, strong Java fundamentals, and a disciplined engineering approach. You will collaborate across product, design, and engineering to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Five+ years of Java development experience with Windchill focus.
Deep hands-on experience with Windchill Java API and customization frameworks.
Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals.
Strong Java OO design and performance engineering skills.

Responsibilities

Develop Windchill customizations using Java and PTC APIs.
Extend Windchill behavior via services, listeners, and processors while maintaining a clean customization layer.
Collaborate with product, design, and operations to translate requirements into engineering solutions.
Participate in code reviews and design reviews; mentor junior engineers.
