Job summary
GE Vernova seeks a Lead Subsystem Integration Engineer – Machine Head to drive technical development and integration of the Machine Head sub-system. You will guide technical definition, design integrity, validation, and quality, leading cross‑functional teams from concept through operation.
You will provide engineering leadership across requirements, architecture, verification, and field issue resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement of product development processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with extensive wind turbine project experience.
- Experience across engineering/technology & systems engineering.
- Knowledge of wind turbine component design criteria and systems integration.
Responsibilities
- Provide system expertise through all phases of product development from requirements through life-cycle support.
- Define subsystem architecture and manage interfaces.
- Author, contribute to and approve requirements and trace them to components.
- Lead subsystem problem solving, verification, validation and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to align subsystem development and BOM releases.
- Drive continuous improvement in design strategies and lessons learned.
