Job summary

Nordex Group seeks a Project Quality Manager to lead quality management for wind energy projects. You will oversee customer requirements, develop Project Quality Plans, and coordinate with management, manufacturing, site teams, and suppliers to ensure on-time, cost-effective quality delivery across North America.

The role requires five years in project quality or related fields, ISO 9001/APQP knowledge, and ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Project Quality Management, Construction Management, Manufacturing, or related environments.
• Experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance in projects and supplier-facing roles.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, APQP or equivalent.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel across North America and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary quality representative for customers throughout project execution.
• Review customer quality requirements with Sales during offers and tenders.
• Develop and manage Project Quality Plans for North American projects.
• Ensure contractual quality requirements are implemented across manufacturing and project execution.
• Monitor manufacturing quality deliverables and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Lead resolution of non-conformities during transport, installation, and commissioning.
• Lead corrective actions and verify long-term effectiveness.
• Coordinate customer audits and inspections; manage audit actions and progress.
• Serve as quality focal point for customer claims and supplier quality issues.
• Support installation quality with on-site teams and ensure proper handover to Operations & Maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support safe, successful project execution.
