Job summary

GE Vernova in Texas Hub 1 is seeking a Senior Wind Hub Technician to maintain turbine operations and safety on site with up to 100% travel. You will partner with the Site Lead to meet contract requirements, diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues, and mentor peers.

The role requires the ability to read schematics, follow EH&S procedures, lift up to 45 lbs, and climb towers. Base pay ranges from $43.18 to $46.10 per hour, plus relocation and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and ability to pass Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 4 years of wind troubleshoot­ing experience, plus 1 year in EHS/SQC/Lead role, or 6 years wind troubleshoot­ing, or 3 years wind troubleshoot­ing with a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Work with site leadership to meet customer requirements daily and support on-site electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on wind turbines.
• Read, understand and explain schematics, drawings, manuals, procedures and regulations.
• Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety processes and compliance requirements.
• Mentor peers and support site operations as directed by manager.
