Job summary

Core Government Services Corporation seeks a senior Army veteran for the Workstation Instructor Controller (WIC) team at Fort Leavenworth, KS. You will train, coach, and supervise personnel to replicate command structures and maintain realistic simulation environments using WARSIM and JLCCTC.

The role requires deep Army knowledge, DoD clearance, and experience at brigade/battalion levels. Travel to temporary exercise locations is expected; full-time, exempt position.

Qualifications

• ILE/MEL4 or Sergeants Major Course graduate equivalent.
• Former field grade officer; retirement at Lt Col (O-5) or above preferred.
• Key developmental position at brigade or battalion level.
• Familiarity with Army and Joint regulations relevant to this role.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise rotational unit personnel during exercises.
• Instruct on WARSIM BSWS and JLCCTC platforms.
• Provide guidance on Army Mission Command Systems (CPCE/CPOF).
• Support Exercise Control and Database teams in training file development.
• Collaborate with OC/Ts and S-33 for Unit Training Events and planning.
• Conduct database reviews and simulate platform testing prior to WFXs.
• Develop and deliver JLCCTC lesson plans.
• Oversee work cell operations to ensure realism in simulations.
• Generate Work Cell reports for AAR development.
• Implement workarounds for JLCCTC gaps and resolve anomalies.
