Job summary

Core Government Services seeks a Collective Training Branch Mission Command Information System Trainer to support simulation training exercises at the Fort Bragg Mission Training Center (MTC). The role includes delivering MCIS instruction and coordinating training across units, with strong emphasis on safety and mission-readiness.

The ideal candidate will have an active Secret clearance and Army experience with MCIS, able to plan, execute, and teach at multiple echelons, and able to travel

Qualifications

  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Recently retired or separated Army senior NCO/Warrant Officer/Officer with at least 6 years of Battalion or higher echelon staff experience using MCIS.
  • Must possess a valid State Driver's License and Fort Bragg driving privileges.
  • Experience with Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS).
  • Strong teaching, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist unit leadership in planning simulation training to meet objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute simulation training at echelons from Squad to Corps on programs such as LOTS, DXTRS, ExCIS, JLCCTC, JDLM, IEWTPT, VBS3.
  • Perform classroom setup, networking of systems, and supporting simulations, and instruction on applicable mission command information systems.
  • Execute training on the system IAW Army POI following approved course instructional times.
  • Provide individual MCS training to standard and on time, with 90% of the students completing the course and receiving system certification.
  • Follow doctrine outlined in TC 6-0 series 'Training the Mission Command Warfighting Function'.
  • Teach and coach during exercise/event execution, BSWS functionality and operations to personnel.
  • Prepared to operate BSWS for the unit during training events.

Job description

Core Government Services (CGS) is searching for a Collective Training Branch (CTB) Mission Command Information System Trainer to support simulation training exercises at the Fort Bragg Mission Training Center (MTC).

Essential Functions
  • Assists unit leadership in planning simulation training that will meet collective training objectives
  • Plans, coordinates, and executes simulation training at echelons ranging from Squad to Corps on various programs such as LOTS, DXTRS, ExCIS, JLCCTC, JDLM, IEWTPT, VBS3
  • Perform classroom setup, networking of systems, and supporting simulations, and instruction on applicable mission command information systems
  • Executes training on the system IAW Army standard Programs of Instruction (POI) following approved course instructional times
  • Provides individual MCS training to standard and on time, with 90% of the students successfully completing the course of instruction and receiving system certification
  • Follows doctrine outlined in the TC 6-0 series "Training the Mission Command Warfighting Function"
  • Teach and coach during exercise/event execution, Battle Simulation WorkStation (BSWS) functionality and operations to the training unit personnel who will operate simulation workstations during exercises and class training events
  • Prepared to operate BSWS for the unit during execution of a training event
Requirements
  • Active Secret security clearance (Required).
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Recently retired or separated Army senior Non-Commissioned Officer / Warrant Officer / Officer with at least 6 years of Battalion or higher echelon staff experience using Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS)
  • Must possess a valid State Driver's License and maintain Fort Bragg driving privileges
  • Advance knowledge of their principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of Army simulation training programs
  • Knowledge of one or more Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS)
  • Must demonstrate effective teaching, instruction, presentation, and communication skills
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills for interfacing with military and civilian personnel
  • Army Warfighting Simulation (WARSIM) and Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) experience is preferred.

Work schedule is 0730 - 1630, Monday - Friday (may vary based on mission requirements)
