Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Senior Wet Etch Equipment Engineer to help install, qualify, and optimize wet process equipment in our advanced cleanroom environment. You will analyze data, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and work with process engineers to resolve production issues.

The role requires hands-on fault isolation, project management to close hardware gaps, and the development of TPM strategies while collaborating with vendors to drive equipment metrics

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience as Equipment Owner with Wet Process Equipment.
• BS or MS in Engineering, or equivalent military experience or AAS with 5+ years.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in Data Science and Programming skills

Responsibilities

• Installation and qualification of industry leading wet process equipment in our new cleanroom.
• Wet process equipment performance, including data analysis, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Collaborate with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment-related issues affecting production.
• Use project management skills to complete project milestones that close hardware gaps around equipment deficiencies.
• Establish productive vendor relations to maintain supplier engagement, driving best in class equipment metrics.
• Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategies
