Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Senior Wet Etch Equipment Engineer to help install, maintain, optimize, and develop wet etching equipment for high-quality semiconductor manufacturing. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, analyze data, and drive improvements in yield and efficiency.

This role emphasizes hands-on work in a new cleanroom environment, with collaboration across process engineering and vendor relations to close hardware gaps and sustain TPM

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering, equivalent military experience or AAS with 5+ years industry experience
• Good understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn Agentic AI to improve workflow
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach

Responsibilities

• Installation and qualification of industry leading wet process equipment in our new cleanroom
• Wet process equipment performance, including data analysis, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation
• Collaborate with process engineers to identify and resolve equipment-related issues affecting production
• Use project management skills to complete project milestones that close hardware gaps around equipment deficiencies
• Establish productive vendor relations to maintain supplier engagement, driving best in class equipment metrics
• Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategies
