Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks a Senior Dry Etch Process Engineer to lead startup, development, and optimization of dry etch processes. You will work with equipment and integration teams to improve yield, reduce defects, and cut costs, while driving cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires 5+ years in dry etch, a BS/MS in Engineering, and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in Dry Etch processes.
• BS or MS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Start up, develop, and optimize dry etch processes to improve product quality.
• Collaborate with equipment and integrations engineers to resolve production issues.
• Drive yield, defectivity, production, and cost improvements across processes.
• Manage projects to close gaps using SPC charts and data-driven approaches.
