Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Social Work, Gerontology, Health Education, Adult Recreation, Counseling, Behavioral Science, or related field.
• Ability to plan, conduct and evaluate programs for seniors.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Plan Wellness and Health Promotion programs in Senior Centers and the community.
• Lead project management and coordinate initiatives with funding entities.
• Collect and report data for state and local aging programs and OAAPS reports.
• Engage with community partners and health organizations to support wellness for Harford County seniors.
• Support SHIP, SMP, and MIPPA programs through education, outreach, and grant management.
• Represent the department at local, regional, and statewide meetings as needed.
