Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with seniors or in healthcare is an asset.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to assist residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement individualized activities for residents, including arts and crafts, games, exercise programs, and social events
• Encourage resident participation and socialization through group activities and one-on-one interactions
• Collaborate with the activities director to develop and implement activity programs that meet the needs of our diverse resident population
• Assist with the planning and execution of special events, such as birthday celebrations and holiday parties
• Maintain accurate records of resident activities and participation
