Job summary

East Park Care Community in Ohio is seeking an Activities Aide to plan, coordinate, and lead engaging recreational activities for residents. You will work with the Activities Director to tailor programs to individual interests, ensuring safety and meaningful social interaction.

You will assist with planning, setup, and cleanup, document participation, and help organize special events. A caring attitude and teamwork are essential for supporting residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Interest or experience in activities coordination preferred but not required.
• Ability to plan, lead, and adapt recreational activities for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Activity Planning and organize daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
• Lead and facilitate group activities such as games, crafts, music, and events.
• Encourage resident participation and adapt activities for mobility or cognitive needs.
• Build relationships with residents and monitor safety and well-being during activities.
• Document attendance, preferences, and participation per facility policies.
• Set up and clean activity spaces and assist with special events.
