Job summary

CommuniCare Berea Center in Berea, OH is seeking an Activities Assistant to provide individualized activities and support resident engagement on a part-time or full-time basis.

You will work directly with residents to promote socialization and participation in activities, helping turn aging, rehabilitation, and recovery challenges into meaningful experiences. A friendly, energetic, and dependable approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Prior experience preferably with related software applications.
• Must be able to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities.
• Basic computer literacy and skills.
• Must possess an active state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized activity care and services for residents.
• Foster resident socialization and community involvement.
• Collaborate with the activities department and interdisciplinary teams to support units.
