Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Certified Welding Inspector III to lead welding quality across projects. You will write and review welding quality programs, supervise CWIs and inspectors, and approve welding documentation in collaboration with engineers of record and owners.

The role requires AWS SCWI or equivalent with extensive inspection leadership, familiar with D1.1/D1.5/D1.8, ASME IX, and API 1104. Travel to sites is possible.

Qualifications

• AWS SCWI or current CWI with 8+ years leading welding inspection.
• Experience writing welding quality programs for structural/industrial projects.
• Credible with engineers, fabricators, and building officials; writes practical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and approve welding quality plans and procedures.
• Supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors across projects; review reports.
• Approve WPS, PQR, and welder qualification packages; witness qualification testing.
