Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Certified Welding Inspector III to lead welding quality across projects. You will write and review welding quality plans, supervise CWIs and inspectors, and approve WPS and qualification packages.

You will audit fabricators, resolve disputed indications, and represent the company to engineers, owners, and building officials on welding matters. AWS SCWI or CWI with 8+ years is required.

Qualifications

• AWS SCWI or current CWI with 8+ years of inspection leadership.
• Experience writing welding quality plans, NDT procedures, and QC docs.
• Strong knowledge of codes: D1.1, D1.5, D1.8, ASME IX, and API 1104.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and approve welding quality plans, inspection procedures, and NDT procedures.
• Supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors across projects; review reports and calibrate calls.
• Audit fabricators and erectors' welding quality systems; resolve disputed indications with engineers.
