Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Certified Welding Inspector III to act as the welding quality authority across projects. You will write and review welding quality programs, supervise CWIs and Inspectors, and represent the company to engineers, owners, and building officials on welding matters.

Required: AWS SCWI or a CWI with 8+ years of inspection leadership, strong code knowledge, and the ability to approve WPS/PQR and manage audits.

Qualifications

• AWS SCWI or CWI with 8+ years of welding inspection leadership.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1/D1.5/D1.8, ASME IX, API 1104.
• NDT Level II or III in at least one method preferred.
• Experience writing welding quality programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and approve welding quality plans and procedures.
• Supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors across projects.
• Review reports, calibrate calls, and approve WPS/PQR packages.
• Audit fabricators and erectors' welding quality systems.
• Witness or direct procedure qualification testing.
• Represent the company in welding quality reviews.
