Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Certified Welding Inspector III to lead welding quality programs, supervise CWIs and Inspection staff, and coordinate with engineers of record, owners, and building officials on welding matters.

AWS SCWI is preferred; a CWI with eight or more years of documented inspection leadership is considered. You will audit fabricators, approve WPS/PQR, and witness qualification testing across projects.

Qualifications

• AWS SCWI is preferred or a current CWI with 8+ years of welding inspection leadership.
• Experience writing welding quality programs and procedures for structural or pipeline projects.
• Ability to supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors and coordinate with engineers of record.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and approve welding quality plans, procedures, and NDT procedures.
• Supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors across projects and review their reports.
• Audit fabricators' welding quality systems and verify compliance with codes and project specs.
