Halo Technical Solutions Global is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join the quality and commissioning team on large-scale industrial projects in Houston, TX. You will verify welding activities against specifications, coordinate NDE/NDT, and maintain thorough inspection records to prevent rework.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of welding inspection experience, knowledge of AWS/ASME codes, OSHA 10, and NFPA 70E certification, with readiness to relocate and work in fast-paced

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years welding inspection or related construction inspection experience.
• Working knowledge of welding processes and codes (AWS/ASME).
• Ability to read drawings, welding symbols, WPS/PQRs and project docs.
• Willing to relocate and work in fast-paced environments.

Aufgaben

• Verify welding activities meet project specifications, drawings, procedures and codes.
• Review welder qualifications, WPS/PQR documentation, materials and fit-up requirements.
• Perform inspections before, during and after welding activities.
• Coordinate and support NDE/NDT inspections and testing.
• Maintain accurate weld inspection records, reports, certifications and documentation.
• Coordinate with field supervision, QA/QC teams, contractors and trades.
• Identify and document weld deficiencies and required corrective actions.
