Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a skilled Welder to perform TIG welding on various materials and fabricate prototype parts. The role involves reading blueprints, ensuring structural integrity, and mentoring other team members.

You will operate welding equipment and troubleshoot issues under supervision, contributing to process improvements. The ideal candidate has extensive welding experience, strong math and analytical skills, and the ability to work with precision in a moderate-risk environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 7+ years of welding experience.
• Apprenticeship or formal training in the area of specialty may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ordinary and repetitive welding operations.
• Maintain mechanical strength on standardized assemblies and products.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine welding process.
• Weld all types of materials, including TIG.
• Train other associates and lead small teams.
